Providing a comprehensive study of theological disciplines through a systematic structure of subject areas.
The Bachelor of Theology is an in-depth course of study that will provide you with the skills to understand the Bible, Christian Thought, and Traditions. It will also provide you will skills in self-reflection, synthesisation of theological knowledge, and discernment, and will help you to understand other faiths. This knowledge and understanding is extremely important in the multi-cultural society of today where the media is full of complex international relations and the threat of terrorism.

3 years full time or up to 9 years part time. Max time allowed = 9 years. Full time is usually two to three units per trimester, part time is one or two.

You could be eligible for credit, but this is capped at 16 units depending on the study you’ve completed. Have a chat to our registrar about applying for this.

*Please note that a focus on Pastoral Counselling or Clinical Practice in your degree does not accredit you to be a counsellor. It is designed to give you extra skills in Christian/Pastoral Counselling which will enhance previous or future qualifications in Counselling.
