Anti-depressant use has doubled in Australia in the past decade with our ‘Lucky Country’ now having one of the highest rates of anti-depressant use in the world. While medication can reduce levels of depression, this does not necessarily mean it addresses the underlying cause. Aspects of our culture have been found to increase rates of depression and anxiety.
In this seminar, Alanna considers the research and how we can combat these in our own lives and the lives of those around us.
